Wellington Phoenix VS Western Sydney  Livescore | Match Preview | Match Statistics

Wellington Phoenix boss Darije Kalezic appears to have a full squad to select from fresh from a 2-1 win over Melbourne Victory, although Marco Rossi limped off early and may not be fully fit.
Western Sydney Wanderers welcome back Josh Risdon and Jaushua Sotirio after injury, but lose captain Robbie Cornthwaite and midfielder Chris Herd to suspension.
Wellington Phoenix

Injured/unavailable: None
Western Sydney Wanderers
Suspended: Robbie Cornthwaite, Chris Herd
Doubtful: None
Injured/unavailable: Jerrad Tyson (shoulder), Alvaro Cejudo (calf); Jonathan Aspropotamitis, Keanu Baccus (both international duty)
MAIN PREDICTION: HHAD Western Sydney Wanderers (+1) AWAY WIN
Wellington Phoenix ended their seven-game winless run with their triumph over Melbourne Victory boosted by new signings Nathan Burns and Matija Ljujic. Wanderers are unbeaten in their past three games, including a 2-0 win on the road against Brisbane Roar and a 1-1 home draw against Adelaide Utd last time out.
Wanderers’ away form is okay, with two wins, four draws and two defeats, but Phoenix’s win over Victory suggests they are building something. While their home record isn’t amazing, they have scored 15 of their 18 goals this season at Westpac Stadium and are a different prospect there.
Wanderers have a good record against Phoenix, but the home side are building so I’m calling a draw, to play it safe, Wanderers on the +1 market seems a wise choice here.
Western Sydney Wanderers are the second best side in the A-League for first halves, having led six times in eight away games this season. I’m backing them to take a half-time lead.
Western Sydney Wanderers have won nine of their 17 encounters, while Wellington Phoenix have only claimed five wins with three draws. Most significantly Wanderers have won all of their past three meetings in all competitions and are unbeaten in their past six.
Nowgoal Prediction: Western Sydney +1
