MATCH PREVIEW
MAIN PREDICTION: HAD New York City (+1) AWAY WIN

Atlanta Utd won their fourth straight game last Saturday as they hammered Los Angeles FC 5-0 at home and now have four wins and a loss in 2018. Atlanta also has five wins in their last 11 MLS matches along with two losses and four draws. They were the eighth best home squad in the league in 2017 with 11 wins, three draws and three losses for 36 points and have three home wins this campaign. Atlanta went ahead of Los Angeles after 17 minutes last weekend courtesy of man of the match Julian Gressel. They doubled the score through Josef Martinez in the 67th minute and Miguel Almiron tucked away a pair of penalty kicks in the 88th minute and second minute of injury time. Los Angeles were down to ten men after the second penalty and Atlanta’s Romario Williams scored just before the final whistle.

New York City remains on a hot streak and unbeaten after walloping Real Salt Lake 4-0 at home on Wednesday night. New York has now recorded five wins and one draw on the season for 16 point and leads the league and of course the Eastern Conference. The team now has seven wins, three draws and just two losses in their last dozen MLS outings. New York had the second-best away record last season at six wins, four draws and seven defeats for 22 points and have two wins and a draw on the road this year. New York opened the scoring after 12 minutes through Ismael Tajouri-Shradi against Real Salt Lake in midweek and man of the match Maxi Moralez doubled the lead on a penalty kick in the 30th minute. Jo Inge Berget then scored 11 minutes later and Ebenezer Ofori wrapped things up in the 70st minute.

New York is unbeaten on the year and Atlanta is on a four-game winning streak, so I'm looking for a draw here. New York on the +1 market is the safest outcome here.

SECOND PREDICTION: FIRST TEAM TO SCORE – ATLANTA UTD

Atlanta Utd has opened the scoring in 26 of their last 40 matches, so look for them to strike first.

HEAD TO HEAD

These teams have met just twice with both games being last year and each side winning 3-1 at home.
